Autumn Blessings 🍂
With Autumn upon us here in South Africa, I’m reminded just how beautiful it is when trees let go… Leaves fall, not because the tree is dying, but because her natural response to change is preparation: She prepares for a new season of growth.
Perhaps this season is an invitation for us too; an opportunity to release what we’ve been painfully carrying for far too long.
The pain of old expectations unmet,
old disappointments that left us afraid to try again,
even old labels, and old fears of being misunderstood.
Sometimes we miss the power of “Begin Again” because we are afraid of opinions and afraid of being judged. Afraid that stepping forward will invite criticism and make us vulnerable. And slowly we learn to hide behind the shadows of self-doubt and the fear of being rejected.
Yet, Jesus never hesitates with new beginnings. He lovingly invites us into a brand new beginning every single day, with the fulfilled promise of new mercies!
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
for His mercies never fail. They are new every morning.”
~Lamentations 3:22–23
🍂 Think about it:
This promise is not for occasional renewal, not once a year, but EVERY single morning! How amazing is that🤩
So, dear friend, I pray that as you awake to a new day, you will also awaken your soul to your new beginning, full of life and heaven’s possibilities!
📚📝You may want to journal a few thoughts here.😇
Love & Blessings always
Sharon🌷
