🌸To blossom is the readiness to bear fruit
You cannot bear fruit without blossoms and blossoms will not come without the germination process. Seed within itself does not blossom.
For a seed to become a plant or a tree, it must go through the process of shedding, better known as germination, so that it can become fully formed in its’ inherent identity. When a seed germinates, it awakens to the process of its full potential! The process of germination starts with what is called imbibition, which is simply the intake of water. A seed will remain a seed for as long as it doesn’t germinate.
How amazing is that!
🌸God’s Word Blossoms our Faith
In the same way, God’s Word is essential for the blossoming of our faith. It is His Word living in us that awakens us to our inherent identity in Jesus Christ. It is His Word developing, growing, maturing, bursting forth, and coming to fruition in our daily lives transforming us into a new creation! The death of our old self is what gives life to our new identity!
So, unless you and I cease to exist in our old ways; and we choose the transformational work of the Holy Spirit, we will always remain just a seed.
“Truly, truly, I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a seed; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.” ~ John 12:24
Be encouraged, we were created to blossom, flourish and thrive!
